Storms

As the winds blow and the rains fall across Jamaica, our hearts are reminded of how fragile life can feel in moments like these.

It may seem as though our protection has been shaken and our help has disappeared — but here is the truth: God has not left us.

Even in the storm, His presence is near.

He is working through the brave hands that serve, the neighbors who share, the families and whole world who pray together, and the communities that rise in unity and love.

Sometimes God calms the storm — and sometimes He calms His people in the storm.

Either way, His promise remains: we are not alone.

Let us keep looking for His hand in every act of kindness, every answered prayer, and every moment of peace that passes through the chaos.

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”

— Psalm 46:1

A very present help in trouble.

He is there IN whatever storm we are going through, right now, at this moment!!

Hold fast, Jamaica.

The same God who commands the winds and waves is holding us steady even now.
