It's been a super busy week.

And the more I work with these teens the more my heart breaks for some of the trials they are going through.

But this week I found another "power scripture".

Ephesians 3:13-19

"13 Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.

14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,

16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;

17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,

18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;

19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God."

At seminary we often look for ways to help remember references.

This one was simple.

So much truth for kids 13-19.

Truths like trials are part of the plan.

Apostles and prophets pray for us.

Jesus Christ will strengthen us from within through the power of the Holy Ghost.

That we need faith in Christ.

And to be rooted in love.

It's not either or, but both together.

That we may know and understand much, but especially how loved we are by Christ.

And how to love like him.

And that His love can fill in the gaps for the knowledge we are still waiting for.

Of course these truths are for all of us.

But how I wish every teen knew and understood them.
